We are looking for a motivated, professional individual eager to join our team as a **Contract Accounting Technician **for our upcoming busy tax season. We're looking for a flexible individual who is eager to learn and grow professionally. You will have a keen sense of time management, initiative, and the ability to work independently when necessary.

This position involves the following opportunities to grow and develop:

- Prepare after the fact bookkeeping and reconciliations from client information
- Exposure to all aspects of public accounting firm tax compliance cycle for payroll, trust, corportate and personal engagments (T4, T5, T3, T2, T1 returns)
- Experience in preparing year-end working paper files
- Invovlement with audit engagements and key audit substantive testing and sampling procedures
- A willingness to engage with technology and craft innovative solutions to our office processes and workflows (our primary tools are Caseware, TaxPrep and CCH Ifirm and you will learn these intimately)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- To be supportive and flexible with additional responsibilities as they develop in the office, our work environment is dynamic and always changing and the key to our success is adaptability

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
