This role is two-fold. Firstly, it involves creative and out-of-the-box thinking. You'll work closely with clients to create strategies for video ads that will help scale their accounts. The other side of this role is executing these strategies from end to end by creating and editing content, and overseeing the video team per account. Your success in this role will be determined by performance metrics, and the ultimate measure of success would be to achieve a viral ad. **Your Duties & Responsibilities** - Working alongside our video editors, graphic designers, and media buyers to create winning strategies for our clients. - Generating original concepts and angles for engaging video ads to be posted on various social media channels. - Proactively and continually conducting extensive research into social media trends and developments in each client's industry. - Analyzing performance data to plan future ads, and showing measured and attributable improvements based on this data over time. - Acting as a conduit between the client and the internal team to ensure smooth and consistent communication. - Managing a team of video editors and content producers per account to ensure all the work we produce meet the briefs set out by our clients. - Mentoring video team members to ensure progression and improvement. - Following a strict client approval process and meeting production deadlines. - Being highly responsive, detail-oriented, and decisive following client reviews of ads. **What We Expect Of You** - You have to be a TikTok fanatic, Instagram expert, and Facebook veteran. - You are well-versed in Adobe Premiere and have a basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop and After Effects. - A strong understanding of marketing with an aptitude for consumer psychology. - Extensive knowledge of digital culture and social media trends. - Extensive knowledge of UGC content and how ad content is chosen per channel. - You have worked with digital marketing agencies and/or eCommerce brands before. - The ability to create and document strategies designed specifically for scaling accounts using viral ads. - You understand video ad conversion principles for multiple channels and you're able to explain how strategy differs per channel. - You will follow through on ideas all the way from high-level strategy, to storyboarding, to directing content production, to video editing. - A commitment to learning about target demographics, ad styles, channels, etc. per account. - A deep understanding of the “first second/thumb stopper" footage concept. - Experience in copywriting and messaging for TikTok and Facebook. - You're able to develop strong relationships with clients to ensure high customer satisfaction. - You are highly organized with strong verbal and written communication skills. - You can prioritize work effectively based on need and demand. - You're a natural leader with great team management skills. - You're an ambitious self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit. - Multi-tasking is no big deal to you and you can work under pressure whilst adapting quickly to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. - You are technically savvy, reliable, and responsible. - You are absolutely committed to consistently providing top-quality creative work. **What Benefits Await You?** At Terfuu, you'll lead a comfortable, curious, and freedom-driven life with these added benefits: - The ability to grow and develop at your own pace, steer your own career trajectory, and to do that with a remarkable, like-minded team. - A true sense of autonomy over your work.
