**Hours of work**:Variable, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm: 7 ½ hr day, 1/2 hr lunch
**Pay Rate**:Variable
**Pay Period**:Bi-weekly
**Vacation Allowance**: 1st year - 2 weeks, 2nd yr - 3 weeks, 5th - 4 weeks

**General Description**:
Inside sales people are responsible for handling customer inquiries of all types. They are required to be courteous and to pay close attention to detail. In many cases they are the interface between Beaver (or supplier) technical staff and the customer, and therefore required to have a good technical aptitude and the ability to listen to, understand, and explain technical issues. As salespeople, they are also required to have an understanding of commercial issues such as: profit margins, payment terms, credit worthiness, etc.

**Duties**:

- Inquiries
- Respond to incoming sales calls in a courteous and timely manner. (Top priority)
- Record all phone conversations in a notebook
- Return calls promptly
- Submit quotations in a professional manner, including a detailed description of what is being supplied, and of Beaver terms and conditions
- Follow up on all quotations

Order Processing
- Source products or services for customers, and ensure they meet customer requirements
- Confirm credit status of customers
- Obtain customer Purchase Order for all orders
- Ensure customer’s and Beaver’s terms and conditions are compatible on all orders
- Track and acknowledge any changes on existing orders
- Maintain contact with Beaver departments or vendors to monitor order progress
(Order follow-up)
- Promptly process all paperwork
- General
- Promote a professional company image through prompt, thorough, and courteous customer service
- Keep up-to-date with new product lines, services, and/or pricing policies
- Attend company sponsored training as required to improve product knowledge and/or job skills
- Keep work area neat and clean
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

**Qualifications**:

- High School graduation
- Technical school training is desirable
- Post Secondary education in Business Studies is preferred
- Experience in sales, purchasing, and/or customer service is desirable
- Basic knowledge of electrical apparatus is desirable
Organization, Social media are desirable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $37,443.47-$73,099.99 per year
