**WE ARE LOOKING FOR A Full-time general maintenance Technician**

**We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Engineering Team as a General Maintenance. At Hyatt, w**e care for you, while you care for our guests.**

**WHAT IS EXPECTED OF ME IN THIS ROLE?**
- Conducting general rounds for routine inspections of premises and equipment.
- Performing scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance on guest rooms and public areas.
- Handling basic equipment repairs, use of hand and power tools and maintenance.
- Overseeing contractors as required.
- Diagnosing electro-mechanical issues and correcting them.
- Any other duties assigned from time to time within the engineering department.
- Ability to use measuring instruments like a psychrometer, voltmeter, ammeter, GFCI tester, etc.
- Working both in a team setting and independently
- The position consists of morning, evening, overnight and weekend shifts as per business demands
- Diagnosing electro-mechanical and kitchen equipment issues and correcting them
- Valid work authorization for Canada

**Experience**
- At least 2-3 years of maintenance work experience
- Any additional certifications like Certified Pool Operator, Building Operator Certificate etc would be considered as an asset

**This role will typically allow a minimum of 30 hours per week**

**The starting hourly rate for this role is $22.50 CAD**per hour**
