**Position Description**:
This individual would be required to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Assist with installation and support computer workstations and peripherals.
- Assist in providing helpdesk related telephone support to I.T. related technical issues.
- Inventory of all information technology hardware and software.
- Assist in the creation of information technology documentation
- Daily office administration, as required.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in an Information Technology Related Course at a Community College or University.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Windows 7
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2013, 2016
- Knowledge of TCP/IP network connectivity in LAN and WAN systems
- Ability to work in a team environment, accept and follow verbal and written instructions, complete duties to an acceptable level of quantity and quality with mínimal supervision and follow all of Norfolk County Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
- Excellent customer service and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
- Must have Class G2 Driver’s License - as occasional travel may be required
- Ability to deal with the public courteously and effectively

**Note**:
Employment is conditional upon: attendance at all training sessions, submission of required documentation/certification, adherence to the minimum age requirements and ability to meet the employment term

Applicants must submit a criminal record check (dated within the last 3 months) from their local police service for approval prior to commencing employment

The duration of this contract will be approximately 4 months. Applicants are expected to fulfill the entire contract period commencing April 30, 2025 until August 29, 2025.
