**Position Overview**

Velocity Truck Centre Canada, formally known as First Truck Centre, has an exciting opening for a **Parts Driver (dayshift)** at our Surrey BC branch. **Primary Job Functions**

  • Safely operating our company truck to facilitate the pickup and delivery of parts throughout the area.
  • Assists with the loading and unloading of trucks.
  • Forklift operation.
  • Picking and stocking parts and ensuring clean and orderly conditions.
  • Able to identify parts.
  • Have a high standard for vehicle maintenance.
  • Follow all safe driving regulations set out by the province and the company.
  • Cross train in shipping / receiving when not out delivering.

**Skill Set**

  • Professionally represent the company while providing excellent customer service.
  • Strong willingness to following safety procedures and company policies.
  • Must be an initiative-taker and able to work independently.
  • Must be familiar with the streets and highways of the area.
  • Ability to work in a physical capacity including heavy lifting.
  • Must be comfortable driving and maintaining a company vehicle.

**Requirements**

  • High School Diploma (or currently completing high school).
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Proof of a clean drivers abstract.
  • Previous driving or warehouse experience an asset.
  • Forklift experience an asset (training will be provided).
