Rate: $18.94

**Position Overview**

Velocity Truck Centre Canada, formally known as First Truck Centre, has an exciting opening for a **Parts Driver (dayshift)** at our Surrey BC branch. **Primary Job Functions**
- Safely operating our company truck to facilitate the pickup and delivery of parts throughout the area.
- Assists with the loading and unloading of trucks.
- Forklift operation.
- Picking and stocking parts and ensuring clean and orderly conditions.
- Able to identify parts.
- Have a high standard for vehicle maintenance.
- Follow all safe driving regulations set out by the province and the company.
- Cross train in shipping / receiving when not out delivering.

**Skill Set**:

- Professionally represent the company while providing excellent customer service.
- Strong willingness to following safety procedures and company policies.
- Must be an initiative-taker and able to work independently.
- Must be familiar with the streets and highways of the area.
- Ability to work in a physical capacity including heavy lifting.
- Must be comfortable driving and maintaining a company vehicle.

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma (or currently completing high school).
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Proof of a clean drivers abstract.
- Previous driving or warehouse experience an asset.
- Forklift experience an asset (training will be provided).
