The open-pit gold mine is a joint venture between IAMGOLD and Sumitomo Metal Mining Co. Ltd. and is operated by IAMGOLD. We are located near Gogama, Ontario, with access to stable infrastructure and strong connections with our local communities.

** SUPERINTENDENT, SUPPLY CHAIN**

The Supply Chain Superintendent is responsible for leading and coordinating all supply chain activities across procurement, logistics, inventory, and contract management. This role ensures the efficient, compliant, and cost-effective flow of materials and services to support operational goals. The incumbent will foster cross-functional collaboration, drive continuous improvement, and uphold safety and sustainability standards

** Key Responsibilities**

Area 1:
Strategic procurement and contract management.
- Lead procurement planning and execution aligned with operational and project needs.
- Oversee contract lifecycle management including negotiation, compliance, and performance monitoring.
- Ensure procurement activities adhere to corporate policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to mitigate risks and optimize contract terms.
- Promote supplier diversity and sustainability in sourcing decisions.

Area 2:
Logistics and inventory optimization.
- Oversee inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce obsolescence.
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and customs compliance.
- Implement systems and KPIs to monitor supply chain performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure timely availability of critical materials.
- Support emergency response and contingency planning for supply disruptions.-

Leadership, compliance and continuous improvement.
- Lead and mentor supply chain personnel, fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture.
- Champion safety and environmental stewardship across supply chain operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles and digital tools.
- Ensure compliance with internal audit, risk management, and governance frameworks.
- Report on supply chain metrics, risks, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.

**SAFETY & SUSTAINABILITY EXPECTATIONS**

Maintain a cooperative interest in the health and safety of yourself, your fellow workers and local communities. Wear PPEs at all times if in production environments. Be alert and observe, correct and report unsafe conditions. Follow operating procedures and comply with all regulatory requirements. Ensure that work areas are following all of IAMGOLD’s Health and Safety policies and the Occupational Health and Safety Acts in the applicable jurisdiction. Intervene as necessary, to ensure the safety of others in the workplace. Provide safety leadership by always setting a good example.
