**Job Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Plumber/Gas Gitter to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the plumbing and gas fitting industry while working alongside skilled professionals. As an Apprentice Plumber/Gas Fitter, you will assist in various plumbing tasks, learn essential skills, and contribute to the successful completion of projects.

**Duties**
- Assist licensed plumbers/gas fitters in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Support the team in welding and soldering pipes as needed.
- Help with the installation of fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters.
- Participate in troubleshooting plumbing and gas related issues and performing necessary repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety on job sites.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the job.

**Qualifications**
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
- Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of how plumbing systems operate.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction or plumbing work.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics is a plus.
- Previous experience or training in carpentry or related fields is beneficial but not required.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
