**Full-time Hamilton**

We are an established Hamilton brush manufacturing company looking to add a high energy shipper/receiver with an entrepreneurial spirit to our team. Working with a tight-knit group to prepare and receive orders for all our customers, you would be responsible for the accuracy of the orders on an LTL, trailer load, or courier setting.

**Responsibilities**:

- hand-picking orders, participating in regular cycle counts coordinating multiple priorities
- championing HSE best practices
- determining the method of shipment and arranging to ship; preparing bills of lading, customs forms, invoices, and other shipping documents manually or by computer. - assembling containers and crates, recording contents manually or in the computer system, packing goods to be shipped, and affixing identifying information and shipping instructions.
- assembling customer orders from stock and placing orders on pallets or shelves, or conveying orders to workstations
- Inspecting and verifying incoming goods against invoices or other documents, recording shortages, and rejecting damaged goods.
- Maintaining internal, manual, or computerized record-keeping systems.
- Operating a forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods. -reading production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

**Requirements**:

- Having at least 1-2years experience as a shipper/receiver
- Being able to frequently stand, walk, use hands, talk, and hear.
- Lifting/carrying required 5-50 lbs.
- Pushing/pulling 5-75 lbs.
- Frequent lifting - above/below shoulder work
- Frequent bending/stooping. Occasionally required to squat/kneel/rotate/twist/balance.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust or focus.

Standard Hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm however, occasional flexibility may be required should there be an unanticipated change in business needs.
