We have an opening for a professional **Mason **who is skilled in our trade and whose values align with ours. We are a team of professionals, who take great pride in our work. As the successful applicant you will **have 5 years of masonry experience**, with sound experience in at least two fields of masonry: stone, brick and/or veneer. You will be a mentor and influencer to our team of apprentices and labourers. As a team member you will be keen to contribute to a tight-knit group of masons and together we will push our careers forward with the Heritage family.

*Strong interpersonal skills and clear communications (verbally and in writing) are important for this role. Punctuality and strong personal organisation skills are essential.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Building with high competency with various masonry units and build formats for residential, commercial, and heritage builds;
- Hitting production benchmarks and daily build targets efficiently;
- Laying bricks and/or stone veneer and fullbed facing;
- Build patios, garden walls and other landscape installations;
- Lay bricks and/or stones to build or conserve residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces;
- Remove, fabricate, and replace stone elements in heritage structures;
- Instruct/mentor apprentices
