Blue Beautylab is searching for a creative lab technician with a passion for sustainability and thinking outside of the box. We are a dynamic start-up seeking to make the beauty industry more environmentally friendly by working with entrepreneurs and indy beauty brands to create and manufacture eco-design skincare and cosmetics with the latest sustainable innovations. We have just opened our first office, R&D lab and manufacturing facility and are seeking lab technician to help support the growth of our business.

**Responsabilities**:
Working directly with the Chief Innovation Officer, the lab technician will be responsible for the preparation of samples, preparing and monitoring stability and compatibility testing, performing testing such as viscosity and pH readings and support in regulatory affairs, preparing Health Canada declarations,INCI lists and documents for exporting products

We are looking for a lab technician with an entrepreneurial spirit, who wants to learn, grow and help come up with unique, innovative, sustainable formulations that will disrupt and change the industry.

You will have the chance to assist supplier meetings, work with the team on strategic sourcing, reviewing performance and sustainability data.

**Qualifications**:
This role is a great opportunity for anyone who ever thought about starting their own business but wants to experience life as an entrepreneur before committing to it, to those solutions-minded, multi-tasking superheroes who love to keep things organized and think outside of the box and anyone in between.
- Experience in beauty is not necessary, but preferred.
- While the majority of our business is in skincare, experience with color is an asset. Formulators with experience in either categories are encouraged to apply.
- Experience formulating mineral SPF products is an asset
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience implementing systems and software in growing company are an asset.

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
