A leader in the food services industry, our client locally and globally sources, imports and distributes high quality, niche protein products across Canada. We work with producers who practice natural, traditional farming methods, creating products that customers enjoy and feel good about serving their families.

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and professional G-class Cargo Van delivery drivers. This job is physically demanding, you will be loading and unloading a van 50-60lb boxes. This role is with the Operations and Logistics team at their newly opened plant in north Mississauga. As a critical member of a close working team, you enjoy working within a team and providing excellent customer service for some of the largest national retailers in the country.

**What will you do?**
- The delivery team is on the front line of working with customers. You will have assigned deliveries and typically a dedicated route. We place an emphasis on driver care and work life balance.
- Verify loads before loading, work in refrigerated trucks and vans to ensure that products are delivered on time and in good condition.
- Provide daily paperwork of deliveries for tracking and invoicing purposes
- Ensure safe, friendly and efficient delivery to a variety of customers; restaurants, butchers, large and small grocery retailers
- You will work between 630AM and 500PM. Overtime pay is available
- This job can be physically demanding, you will be loading and unloading a van 50-60lb boxes.
- Adherence to driver procedures in relation to returns, rejections, wait times, vehicle damage etc.

**Requirements**:

- 2-3 years of delivery driver experience
- Post-secondary education preferred.
- You have a high standard of integrity, a strong work ethic, and are highly organized.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills - you enjoy being part of a team.
- Clean driver's abstract, must be able to lift 60lbs on a regular basis.
- Experience in the food industry is an asset but not required.

**Salary**: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

**Experience**:

- Delivery driver: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (preferred)
