Delivery Driver

Responsibilities:

- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Verify the contents of each shipment against delivery documents
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues or malfunctions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and routes
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts for loading and unloading purposes
- Strong physical stamina to handle heavy packages and endure long hours on the road
- Basic automotive repair skills to address minor issues that may arise during deliveries
- Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to ensure timely deliveries

Note: Commercial driving experience is preferred, but not required.

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON L5L 1X2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
