We are located in Tilbury Industrial Park in Delta BC, with four ways to get here - the Massey Tunnel, Alex Fraser Bridge, South Fraser Perimeter Rd., and Hwy 99.

**About the Position: Afternoon Shift - Monday to Thursday (10 Hour Shifts) - 3:15pm to 1:45am**

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and prepare jobs.
- Create layouts.
- Read, analyze and interpret shop drawings.
- Fabrication and forming of mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
- Safely rig components for lifting.
- Assure the quality of work produced is acceptable to company standards and specifications.
- Maintain a safe work environment.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of experience operating a CNC machine brake press. 235-ton accurpress that uses vision control software and/or 400-ton Mitsubishi, 40040 diamond elite are the machines that we have.
- Excellent understanding of steel fabrication techniques as well as steel grades and shapes.
- Must be able to calculate stretch outs as well as selecting proper dies.
- Must be able to work with both imperial and metric measurements.
- Must be able to use a Vernier Caliper working to very tight tolerances.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret shop drawings.
- Experience maximizing the utilization of materials and minimize waste of materials.
- Basic computer skills required to use the in-house job board.
- Clear communication written and spoken English.
- Ability to stand for long hours (lots of bending is required).
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
