**We are currently seeking an Estimator in Vaughan,ON.**
Objective: The main role is to design and estimate tapered roof insulation systems and provide quality products and outstanding service through an integrated and experienced team.
The Estimator will be responsible for the following:
- Gathering and forwarding to the estimating team all data (plans, specs, dimensions) relevant to tapered project estimation (on site, at clients’ office, on the Construction Association’s virtual drawings room or through appropriate contacts)
- Produce competitive estimates and quotes
- Work order preparation of shop drawings for production
- Produce accurate shop drawings for architectural review and manufacturing
- Occasional site visits and take-offs
- Handling technical questions and sales coordination with the estimator team, Architects, consultants, customers, contractors and the Beacon Roofing Supply or Posi-Slope Outside Sales team
**Requirements**:
- 1-3 years of experience as an Estimator or Draftsperson
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Strong computer skills with MS Office
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD software
- Completion of an Architectural Technology degree or diploma (or equivalent)
- The ability to work independently within a strong team
- The ability to work under pressure and to demonstrate leadership
