**What does a day in the life of a Cash Application Specialist look like?**:
A Day in the life of a TRAFFIX Cash Application Specialist could include some or all of the following:
- Ensures accurate entry of daily cash receipts
- Processes adjustments or credit/rebills as required
- Follows up on any missing information
- Assume responsibility for resolving team member escalations by working with multiple business partners while consistent communication is present with the member.
- Offset unapplied cash per collector's request
- Ensures all batches/checks, denials, and adjustments are keyed and posted
- Records payments to appropriate accounts, identifies and resolves payment discrepancies
- Team player able to develop strong internal working relationships
- Research and resolve remittance errors.
- Obtain remittances from customers
- Research unapplied/unidentified payments
- Interact with managers, collectors and other key stakeholders
- Partner with accounting team to quickly bring issues to their attention and work to understand the root cause and offering potential solutions
- Escalate unresolved items to Manager
- Special projects and other duties as assigned

**Position Requirements**:
- 1-2 years of Netsuite experience is required
- 3Gtms experience preferred
- Previous collections experience preferred
- Experience with transportation suppliers is an asset
- Basic accounting knowledge required
- Position is fully remote
