**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards for taste and presentation.
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
- Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
**Skills**
- Proven experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Creativity in meal preparation with an understanding of various cooking techniques.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring quality output.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
