Dartmouth, Canada First Onsite Full time

Are you ready to make a real difference in people's lives?

At **First Onsite in DARTMOUTH**, we're looking for a **Contents Technician** who thrives in challenging environments and are passionate about helping others restore their lives after disaster strikes. This isn't just a job-it's a chance to be part of a dedicated team that brings order to chaos, one step at a time.

**A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CONTENTS TECHNICIAN**

Your day as a **Contents Technician** starts early, fueled by the knowledge that your work makes a difference. You meet your team at the warehouse, where laughter and camaraderie set the tone for the day. The call has come in: a local business has suffered significant flood damage, and the owners need your help to recover what they've lost.

Arriving on-site, you step into a scene of chaos-damaged furniture, soaked carpets, and waterlogged belongings. With a deep breath, you dive in. The first task is to connect with the clients, who are understandably overwhelmed. You listen to their concerns, reassure them, and explain the plan.

You and your teammates move quickly but carefully, packing items into boxes and cataloging everything with precision. Using **Encircle Restoration Software**, you document the condition of each item, ensuring nothing is overlooked. It's meticulous work, but you take pride in doing it right-these aren't just items; they're memories and livelihoods.

Back at the warehouse, you switch gears. While some of your team cleans and restores items, you're organizing and labeling the inventory, preparing for the next step in the process. A coworker shares a joke, and despite the hard work, you find yourself smiling.

The day isn't without challenges. Some items are beyond repair, and delivering that news to the client is tough. But their gratitude for what you've managed to save reminds you why you do what you do.

By the time you clock out, you're tired but fulfilled. You've spent the day not just restoring belongings, but also helping restore hope and a sense of normalcy for someone who truly needed it. Tomorrow will bring new challenges, but for now, you head home knowing you've made a tangible difference.

At **First Onsite**, every day is a story of resilience, teamwork, and impact-and as a Contents Technician, you're the one writing it.

**Qualifications**:

- A positive attitude and a learner's mindset
- Exceptional team player and organizational skills
- Physically fit (ability to lift, carry and pack boxes) and willingness to follow all company health and safety requirements
- Valid driver's license & clean drivers abstract
- Able to successfully pass a criminal record check
