The Opportunity

As an Inventory Clerk, you are responsible for maintaining the overall inventory accuracy across both the retail floor and backroom. Your main focus is to run daily inventory counts to correct any inconsistencies and discrepancies regarding on-hand product, and assist with solving any disparities found. In addition to ensuring store inventory is accurate, you take the lead on processing all BOPIS orders, assist with receiving and product labeling, and ensure the backroom is kept well-organized, clean and safe.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform daily inventory counts to maintain accurate inventory within the retail location.
- Review daily inventory counts with the Inventory Manager and indicate any discrepancies.
- Work with the Inventory Manager and Receiver to improve and maintain the organization of the backroom.
- Assist with product put-away and picking BOPIS orders in times of high-volume.
- Label incoming products and audit product homes for accurate labelling.
- Move product for store promotions and seasonal change-overs.

**Qualifications**:

- 2+ year of related experience.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Proficiency in computer use.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information
- This position reports to the Assistant Store Managers and Store Manager.
- This position requires team members to work varying hours, seasonal overtime, and shifts during days, evenings, and weekends.
- This position requires team members to stand for extended periods, climb a ladder and to move merchandise (weighing up to 30 pounds) throughout the store.
- Steel toe, green patch work boots are required.
