POSITION: INTERMEDIATE OPERATOR

Major INTERSECTION: Tomken Road and Derry Road, Mississauga

Pay RATE: 25.09 AN Hour

Shift: Night shift, 11.00pm
- 07.00am (training during day 7am-3pm for 3 months), temp to perm.

Summary

The Intermediate Operator shall operate the Intermediate Line to draw wire to the proper specification requirements. Reports to the Wire Mill Team Leader, Production Supervisor and/or Department Manager.

**Responsibilities**:

- The Intermediate Operator shall be responsible for operating the benches to draw wire to the finished size.
- This includes total responsibility for meeting all quality requirements relative to specifications for cleanliness, surface quality, finished wire diameter, and intermediate cast and helix.
- The finished wire shall be free of waves and kinks.
- To identify each reel with the product, manufacturing codes, and date manufactured. Maintain the proper housekeeping of his entire work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Wire Mill Team Leader, Production Supervisor and/or Department Manager.

Requirement:

- Must be familiar with and understand all specifications and procedures required for Intermediate wire drawing.
- Must have a basic education with the ability to understand specifications and procedures. Must be physically fit and mechanically inclined.
- The Wire Mill Team Leader and or Department Manager in conjunction with other experienced personnel shall train the Intermediate Operator.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to $25.09 per hour
