The Clinical Specialist is responsible for developing expertise in a multitude of rare and specialty pathologies, along with Khure Health’s clinical intelligence platform, to provide education and care pathway assistance to physicians caring for these patients.
Khure Health Clinical Specialists work with and help physicians throughout each day, along with Khure’s technical and sales teams, medical advisors, and an expanding panel of key opinion leaders to build and further develop best-in-class clinical tools for our clients.
**Responsibilities Include**:
- Working directly with physicians and assisting with complex patient pathways and pathology education.
- Supporting the development and execution of our clinical pathways for risk screening across our rare disease portfolio
- Researching and critiquing global literature and working with thought leaders to define best in class clinical criteria
- Working with highly technical teams to translate clinical requirements into deep algorithms and rare disease product offerings
- Developing pathology-specific educational materials
- Clinical product quality control, in-field testing, tracking, reporting, and continual improvement practices to monitor our “living” products
- Engage with corporate clients and their leadership, including medical directors, MSLs, and clinical trial groups, to plan and coordinate custom clinical product needs
- Clinical presentations and clinical program updates to customers
- Fulfilling reporting requirements for our pathology-specific programs and clinical trials, including day-to-day entry within our CRM system.
- Continually striving for excellence in clinical customer service
- Achieving individual and departmental objectives as determined in collaboration with management
**Requirements**:
- Minimum - MSc in life sciences, PharmD, Clinical Nursing, or comparable degree in life sciences. MD or Ph.D. in life sciences is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical practice or research with demonstrated knowledge of working with diverse physicians, scientists, and key opinion leaders.
- Proven ability to understand a range of complex diseases, disease mechanisms, and clinical presentations and produce publishable scientific content.
- Proven ability to critically analyze and organize diagnostic criteria.
- Deep love of scientific and clinical problems with the self-drive to solve problems creatively in a fast-moving environment.
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills and creative writing capabilities.
- High Proficiency in written and spoken English a must. Bilingualism (French) is considered an asset.
