**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as directed by the cook or chef.
- Support food preparation efforts by organizing and maintaining kitchen supplies and inventory.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Help with the cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas after use.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during meal periods.
- Assist in stocking supplies and ingredients as needed throughout the shift.
- Follow instructions from chefs or cooks to help create menu items efficiently.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of basic food safety practices and procedures is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while following directions from senior kitchen staff.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards in the kitchen.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and cooking techniques.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
