**Opportunity**: Class 1, 2 & 4 Bus Driver

**Schedule**:Full time: 14 days on, 7 days off. All Bus driving positions are split shifts AM and PM.

**Job Location**: Syncrude Base plant, Aurora & MLX

**Opportunity Description**:
**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the safety of all passengers
- Class 1 & 2 Onsite Transportation
- Class 4 Off site Transportation Transport employees from their homes in Fort McMurray to Syncrude MLX site, twice a day
- Ensure compliance with safety legislation and National Safety Code (NSC) requirements
- Follow corporate safety program and maintenance program
- Pre/ post trip inspections
- Complete daily log/time records as required
- Full knowledgeable of company’s safety and maintenance program
- Conducts/and documents thorough trip inspections
- Immediately report any defect with the equipment
- Cleans equipment as required
- Works together with the on-site Safety Advisor to ensure compliance with company and client HSE policies

**Job Requirements**:

- Must send a copy of your **5 year commercial driver’s abstract with your resume. Your abstract must meet our insurance requirements.**:

- Must have a reliable mode of transportation to and from the pickup/drop off location in Gregoire
- English as a second language testing is required for all employees
- **No camp provided or housing provided**

Qualifications:

- Valid Class 1,2 & 4 Driver’s License with a **clean 5 year commercial driver’s abstract**:

- Must have Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience operating a bus or other large commercial vehicles
- Syncrude Site experience as a driver is considered an asset
- Self-motivated, reliable, flexible and proactive with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated history of safety excellence
