**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide individual and couples counselling using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health concerns and needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to clients' unique circumstances.
- Support clients experiencing occupational stress injuries, trauma, anxiety, depression, and other life challenges.
- Utilize modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), or other relevant approaches.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with professional and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources when necessary.
- Stay updated with best practices, continuing education, and professional development opportunities.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.
- Registered and in good standing with a relevant professional regulatory body (e.g., College of Social Workers, College of Psychotherapists).
- Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience in mental health counselling.
- Specialized training or experience in trauma-informed care, occupational stress injuries, or couples therapy is an asset.
- Strong understanding of mental health disorders, stress management, and coping strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in maintaining clinical records and using digital practice management tools.
