TBC is seeking to hire a part time instructor for our communication courses that will be delivered **on campus** to international students.

**Courses within the program include**:

- Principles of Sustainability & Social Responsibility

**Instructor Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that course curricula are current, relevant, and reflective of best practices within relevant professional/program disciplines
- Upload grades and comments on the Learning Management System in a timely fashion
- Create an effective environment for learning which accommodates students’ diverse cultural and educational backgrounds, experiences and individual learning styles
- Implement course learning outcomes and assessment strategies, ensuring that they support and reflect program goals
- Assure that students are aware of all relevant learning outcomes, learning strategies and assessment techniques
- Assess student achievement of learning outcomes and support student progress through academic counselling and timely feedback
- Develop multimedia materials and alternative delivery strategies, and incorporate appropriate educational technologies into the learning process

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Communication (or related discipline) or an acceptable combination of education and experience. Master’s degree an asset.
- Specific certifications for courses may be required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant industry experience.
- Facilitating learning and instruction in communication to students at the postsecondary/adult level demonstrating a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning is a strong asset.
- Practice excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience in working in marketing and communication teams to support companies to deliver institutional messages and attract clients.
- Experience with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG).
- A commitment to lifelong learning in the field.
- Availability to teach in-person and attend faculty meetings.
- A proven ability to work within a collaborative environment, demonstrating flexibility.
- Advanced computer literacy and a demonstrated willingness to acquire and use learning tools (such as the college’s LMS) commensurate with departmental requirements.

**Job Type**: Part-time
