**About the Role**

**How you will contribute**
- Perform production releases of data and structural changes following Change Management and code release.
- Monitor replication for all Oracle databases and implement automated notification should replication fail as well as perform routine maintenance on databases as required, re-indexing, integrity checking, database shrinking, patching etc.
- Installation, configuration of Oracle 11g, 12c on Red Hat, Windows and HPUX
- Setup internal QA, Sandbox and production environments.
- Perform DBA support, Analysis & Design, Development, Installation, Data Guard, Database and Application server upgrades, Performance Tuning and Migration skills.
- Document all maintenance tasks.
- Perform benchmark comparisons of database systems as needed. Evaluate and recommend new database technologies.
- Keep current on emerging technologies - DB Versions, operating systems, scripting and failover methods.
- Configure Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 13 for database monitoring, performance issues and diagnostics. Oracle Application 11g, 12g Fusion Middleware.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Your Key Qualifications**
- A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, business administration or commerce or a combination of equivalent experience.
- Required experience with Oracle Versions 11g, 12c
- Experience with PostgreSQL is preferred.
- Not required but advantage, Progress version 11
- English (fluent), other languages as required. Strong written and verbal skills in English.
- Knowledge of DBA Tools such as RMAN backup and recovery, Data Pump, Data Guard, OEM
- Working in environments such as HPUX 11i, Windows & Windows Server up to the latest version, SQL Developer, Shell Scripting, Oracle 11g, 12c
- APP Server 11g/12c FMW
