The Opportunity:

Location: Halifax, NS

During your time with us, you will gain exposure to what it’s like to be part of our Corporate Accounting Team.

**What you’ll do**:
We’ll treat you as one of our own and your key areas of responsibility will include**:

- Being an active participant of month end responsibilities, such as closing companies, booking journal entries, and completing bank and account reconciliations;
- Preparing Stats Canada surveys and other filing requirements;
- Preparing of Intercompany billing and variance analysis;
- Preparing of Canadian corporate HST tax returns;
- Assisting with preparation of Budget and Forecast;
- Assisting with other ADHOC requests from Corporate Accounting and other finance departments.

**Who you are**:
**Working as a valued part of our Corporate Accounting team, you will bring:

- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks;
- Highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and analytical skills;
- Prior accounting experience considered an asset but not a requirement;
- Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
