We are a thriving property management company looking for a skilled General Labourer/Maintenance worker to:

- perform upkeep tasks such as minor repairs which may include: dry wall, painting, lawn maintenance
- Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job.
- You must also possess physical stamina and be able to preform tasks efficiently.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping and debris removal from new construction sites etc.
- Perform minor fixes such as repairing locks, patching drywall, diagnosing leaks, replacing light bulbs.
- Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
- Install appliances and equipment
- Collecting garbage, maintain compactor
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation, heating)
- Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
- Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
- Report to Maintenance Manager for issues
- Ability to use mobile app to track your time and complete work orders

**Requirements**:

- Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems, dry wall, paint, handyman work
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina
- Reliable Vehicle and Valid Ontario Driver's license
- Superior Customer Service
- Availability on the weekends
- Ability to work independently

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: From $40,000.00 per year

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- On call
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Superintendent: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Ontario Driver's Licence (required)
