Regional Revenue Manager

Is your love for numbers matched only by your eye for detail? Are you a Revenue Manager hungry for more? We are looking for a Regional Revenue Manager to oversee hotels in the Western region. Result-driven professional with strong analytical skills, this person will be at the heart of the pricing strategy and the revenue meetings of each hotel. As **Regional Revenue Manager**, you will be an important addition to the Distribution team. You will be responsible for maximizing room revenue in three or more hotels in the Western region including Alt Hotel Calgary East Village, Alt Hotel Saskatoon, and Alt Hotel Winnipeg.
**Your talents will allow you to**
- In collaboration with the General Managers and the Regional Director of Sales, establish guidelines for availability and rate structure by market segment.
- Chair weekly revenue management meetings with all relevant information and recommendations to maximize room revenue and occupancy.
- Implement decisions agreed upon at the revenue management meetings in a timely manner.
- Analyze booking and demand reports and develop strategic recommendations.
- Have a good understanding of the market and the competitive set for each hotel.
- Stay current on demand drivers such as special events, citywide conferences, projects and new inventory.
- Monitor transient and group inventory daily to ensure availability and maximization of revenue potential for hotels.
- Review and approve any group inquiry outside of the established guidelines.
- Assist with assessing, analyzing, and pricing group business strategies when needed.
- Ensure that sales strategies and rate restrictions are communicated, implemented, and modified as market conditions fluctuate.
- Explores opportunities that drive profit, create value for guests, and encourage innovation; challenges existing processes/systems/products to make improvements.
- Evaluate performance of distribution partners and contracted rates.
- Compile information, analyze, and monitor actual room revenue against budgeted and forecasted performance.
- Create and monitor long range forecasts for room revenue every period, and comment actualized performance, collaborating with General Managers and Regional Director of Sales.
- Collaborating with hotels, distribution, sales, and marketing to create strategic offers.
- Follow up on the accuracy of all group business on the books.
- Stay current with new technologies and identify new opportunities for exposure in distribution channels.
- Maintain relationship and open communication with reservation team, sales team, head of departments, and hotel General Managers.
- Other hotel specific projects as directed by General Managers and Director of Distribution.

Experience
- 2 to 4 years’ experience in a revenue management position
**Qualifications**:
- Experience with a hotel operating system (PMS)
- Good knowledge of computer software (Office Suite), particularly Excel
- Very good command of oral and written English
- Diploma or degree in hospitality management or related field is an asset
