Knowledge/Experience Required:

- Post secondary education in mechanical/electrical or equivalent related fields
- 3-5 years' experience in a maintenance related role in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with fundamental maintenance principles
- Prior experience in a supervisory role
- Experience in both unionized and non-unionized environments
- Proven track record of team building in a leadership role

Primary Job Functions:
Administrative
- Create/maintain reports, KPI tracking reports, and general analysis of daily fault numbers and KPIs
- Provide KPI statistics and trend analysis on a regular interval and to ensure that department performance is measurable and traceable
- On an ongoing basis, work with the Site Manager to review maintenance procedures in order to achieve and maintain customer service levels.
- Ensure maintenance teams are properly staffed and optimized
- Be responsible for Headcount, Overtime levels and general conformity and performance of the teams
- Responsible for the upkeep and proper use of WiTool and the effectiveness of the maintenance schedules
- Responsible for the planned maintenance schedule adherence

Maintenance:

- Be a motivated team builder, coach and trainer to all members of the maintenance team
- Oversee and be accountable for the performance of a team of maintenance professionals
- Ensure a constant and clear communication with all departments and management staff
- Ensure that maintenance parts are available
- Oversee the parts inventory, tools inventory and ensure that cost control measures are applied at all times
- Provide manpower, parts and cost forecasting on a quarterly basis for the maintenance department
- Ensure knowledge sharing is a fundamental principle that is adopted by all members of the maintenance team
- Oversee and be responsible for all major scheduled and non-scheduled repairs with the aim of ensuring that machinery uptime is maximized, maintenance expenses are minimized and ensuring that all works are done in a safe and secure manner while respecting all safety procedures and policies.
- Follow company escalation procedures and ensure proper feedback to management team at all times
- Responsible to build close ties with other sites and with Parkstein to receive guidance and knowledge sharing
- Attend staff meetings
- To be on call and respond efficiently to all conditions with the aim of minimizing machinery downtime

Pay Rate:

- Salaried position

**Salary**: $95,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
