**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
- Assist with meal preparation by chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when restocking is necessary.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, particularly in the food industry or kitchen settings.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals that delight customers.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
