We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities

  • Prepare pizza dough, toppings, and ingredients according to established recipes and quality standards
  • Cook pizzas to perfection using appropriate kitchen equipment, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
  • Handle food safely by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures
  • Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and maintaining prep stations
  • Serve customers at the counter with friendly and efficient service
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of shortages or issues
  • Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for guests

Requirements

  • Experience: 6 months to 2 years preferred
  • Preference will be given if residing in North Edmonton near Clareview.
  • Previous experience in pizza store, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • Basic understanding of meal preparation and food handling procedures
  • Flexibility to work during peak hours, including closing hours, weekends and holidays as needed
