We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for maintenance and repair of machines and equipment at Saand.

- **Functional Responsibilities**:_

Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Technician I is responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of machines and equipment. The Maintenance Technician I will also Implement and perform continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principles by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes.
- Repair, install, dismantle, reassemble, move, and maintain plant machinery and equipment such as mixers, conveyors, compressors, and pumps follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshoots malfunctions
- Repair or replace control devices such as switches, proximity sensors, pushbuttons, contractors, motor starters etc. as needed
- Perform work order repairs, inspections, and adjustments; responds to emergency break downs during the production process.
- Able to set up and operate welders, drill press, grinder, hand tools and other metal working equipment
- Fabrication and modification of new and existing equipment
- Maintain/calibrate measuring tools and equipment
- Completes maintenance and repair records as required.
- Adheres to company safety programs including Lockout / Tagout, zero mechanical state for equipment, fall protection equipment, ladder, lift equipment regulations and confined space requirements per legislated requirements and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Performs other duties as assigned

- High school diploma

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in hands on repair and maintenance in a high-volume manufacturing environment
