**ROLE TITLE**:SUPERVISOR, STABILITY OPERATIONS (18 MONTH TERM)**

**DEPARTMENT**:QUALITY ASSURANCE**

**REPORTS TO**:MANAGER, QUALITY ASSURANCE**

**HOURS**:8:00 - 16:30**

Provide leadership to the Stability Operation employees ensuring productivity while maintaining compliance. Lead training and development of the Stability Operation employees. As a participative leader, implement appropriate continuous improvement opportunities in the area of Stability Operations and Technology Transfer.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide leadership for the Stability Operations programs to ensure efficient operations while in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordination of departmental activities for stability programs, annual product quality reviews, and technical reports.
- Lead and support projects requiring the evaluation of data and preparing statistical evaluations to support specification changes, alert limits and CI initiations.
- Coordination of the Technical Writers and interaction with individuals and projects to ensure analysis and documentation timelines are met.
- Prepare standard operating procedures, protocols, reports and associated forms.
- Assist in the review and approval of annual product quality reviews.
- Provide job specific training and skill development as well as performance feedback for team members.
- Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and regulatory requirements for manufacturing of pharmaceutical products.
- Provide vision and guidance to the Stability Operations team in the area of occupational health, safety and wellness.
- Provide support to department on electronic systems used within the department (e.g. Stability report within LIMS and SAP QM).
- Prepare and approve change controls, CAPA’s and ER’s.
- Participate in the area of occupational Health, Safety and Wellness.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor of Science degree or diploma in Chemistry or related studies and/or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Three (3) to five (5) years' experience in a pharmaceutical environment.
- Demonstrated capabilities in preparing, writing, and presenting technical data.
- Working knowledge of the associated regulations (E.g. cGMP and ICH Guidelines) that govern the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Visio).
- Basic knowledge of statistical and trends
