**Yard Supervisor**

At E.G. Penner Building Centres Ltd., a COR Certified supplier, we strive to be the premier building, home improvement and design centre in Southeastern Manitoba.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage daily yard operations, including monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate the scheduling of yard activities, including ensuring proper handling and storage of materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement processes for inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Operate yard equipment (i.e. forklift, skid steer loader, pallet jack) safely and efficiently.
- Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to improve workflows, reduce waste, and uphold team morale.
- Conduct regular inspections of yard facilities and equipment to maintain safety and functionality.
- Maintain a neat, clean, organized and well-stocked yard.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Experience in lumber handling, storage, and transportation
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and operate forklifts (certification preferred)
- Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Proven track record of safety compliance and maintaining a clean yard
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail, strong time management and organizational skills.
- Provide professional and courteous assistance to customers and work well in a team environment.
