IT and Digital Transformation Manager

The **Immigrant Employment Council of BC (IEC-BC)** is a not-for-profit organization committed to empowering employers to hire and retain immigrant talent. We are seeking a forward-thinking **IT and Digital Transformation Lead** to oversee our IT operations, support digital innovation, and enhance organizational efficiency.
**Position Overview**
As the **IT and Digital Transformation Lead**, you will manage the day-to-day IT requirements of a dynamic team of approximately 30 staff, coordinate with outsourced IT service providers, and directly support internal IT needs. This role is critical in driving digital transformation initiatives to optimize organizational processes and integrate innovative technologies, including AI tools.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Digital Transformation**
We have a number of innovative projects to work on including implementation of a new CRM (Keela) as well as building our data driven environment. You would work along side and support our data analyst team. Experience with learning management systems would also be a benefit.
**IT Operations and Support**
- Manage IT requirements, including setting up new devices, decommissioning old equipment, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Act as the primary liaison with external IT service providers, ensuring timely resolution of issues and alignment with organizational needs.
- Provide hands-on support to staff for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
**IT Procurement and Compliance**
- Lead the preparation of Request for Quotes (RFQs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs) to ensure compliance with organizational purchasing policies.
- Oversee the procurement of IT equipment and software, making data-driven recommendations for purchasing decisions.
**System Administration**
- Manage software licensing and renewals, ensuring compliance and cost efficiency.
- Oversee the administration of the organization's **Microsoft 365 environment**, including advanced SharePoint configuration and management.
- Maintain and manage organizational websites, domains, and related connections.
**CRM and Database Management**
- Oversee CRM implementation and maintenance, with a strong preference for experience with **Keela** or similar platforms.
- Ensure database integrity, regular updates, and alignment with organizational objectives.
**Learning Management Systems (LMS)**
- Provide technical support for learning management systems such as **Moodle** or equivalent platforms.
- Support a team of instructional designers.
**Digital Transformation**
- Drive digital transformation by identifying and integrating innovative tools, including AI solutions, to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve digital workflows and processes.
**Qualifications**
**Education and Experience**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent certificates and experience.
**Technical Skills**
- Proficiency in **Microsoft 365 administration** with advanced knowledge of SharePoint.
- Familiarity with CRMs (Keela preferred) and database management principles.
- Experience with managing and supporting learning management systems (Moodle or similar).
- Basic knowledge of web development and domain management.
**Digital Transformation**
- Proven experience in leading digital transformation initiatives.
**Soft Skills**
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects and drive change in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
**Work Environment**
- Hybrid model: 2-3 days per week in the office.

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
