**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook a variety of seafood and traditional menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards.
- Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and consistent food quality for every dish.
- Set up and stock kitchen stations with necessary ingredients and supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and overall kitchen area.
- Follow food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Monitor inventory and communicate shortages or required restocking to the supervisor.
- Assist with receiving deliveries and ensuring product quality and proper storage.
- Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Adjust to dietary restrictions or special guest requests when needed.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
**Skills**
- Proven cooking experience in a commercial or high-volume kitchen, preferably with seafood.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen sanitation.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Good knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods and techniques.
- Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize kitchen duties effectively.
- Attention to detail, especially in presentation and portion control.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining kitchen excellence.
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
