Server/bartender

**Job Summary**

**BARTENDING Duties**:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Process customer orders efficiently using the POS system while ensuring accurate billing.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and ensure satisfaction with their drinks and overall experience.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in ordering as necessary.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.
- **SERVER Duties**:

- Greeting and seating guests: You would be responsible for welcoming guests as they arrive at the restaurant, seating them at an appropriate table, and providing menus.
- Taking orders: You would take orders from guests, communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen, and ensure that all orders are accurate.
- Serving food and drinks: You would deliver food and drinks to guests, check on their satisfaction with the meal, and refill drinks as needed.
- Handling payments: You would collect payment for meals and process transactions using cash, credit cards, or other payment methods.
- Providing recommendations: You would be expected to provide recommendations on menu items, suggest specials, and make menu suggestions based on guests' preferences.
- Cleaning and resetting tables: You would be responsible for clearing tables, resetting them for the next guests, and ensuring that the dining area is clean and presentable at all times.
- Providing excellent customer service: You would be expected to provide excellent customer service, answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience.

**Experience**
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous for efficient order processing.
- Experience in food service or hospitality environments is beneficial.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
