3 Months Contract

_**Earnings potential from $2,000.00+ bi-weekly on average (during training and beyond)**_

**Working days: Monday to Friday**
**No Weekends**
**No Holidays**
**Shift: 5:30AM to 14:30PM**

**What you will do**:

- _**Drive**_ a commercial vehicle _**(3 or 5 ton with air brakes or without air brakes)**_ to _**perform Multi-drop deliveries and or pick up**_of freights to assigned stops for our clients within Red Deer and surrounding areas
- Deliver freights in good condition and within scheduled time (approximately 30+ deliveries/day)

Load and Unload freight in proper sequence with the use of a dolley and or pallet truck
- **Lift/carry freight up to 70 lbs.**_
- Use a handheld device to scan documents and freights
- Complete any necessary paperwork accurately
- Perform all safety checks, including pre-trip and post-trip inspection
- Report on all safety hazards and accidents
- Use a cellular phone to communicate with Dispatch, Lead Hand and Manager ie. Truck breakdowns, delivery concerns, answer calls, texts etc.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Build strong client relationships
- Adhere to safety and compliance regulations
- Additional duties as required

**What you will get**:

- Flat base rate $32.00 Per Hour
- Paid bi-weekly

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma
- Valid Class 5 License is a must
- Clean Commercial and Personal Driver’s Abstract
- Courier or LTL experience is an asset

Minimum 1 year COMMERCIAL DELIVERY DRIVING experience
- This shift will be _**Monday to Friday. Shift starts at 5:30AM to 2:30PM (9 hours/day)**_
- Load and Unload freight in proper sequence with the use of a dolley and or a pallet truck_
- **Lift/carry freight up to 70 lbs.**_
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork
- Customer Focus - experience providing quality customer service

- Must be comfortable with using onboard or handheld computer devices

**Experience**:

- LTL Delivery Truck Driving: 2 years (required)
- Courier Delivery Truck Driving: 2 years (required)
- 30+ high volume freight: 1 year (required)
- Load, unload, carry or lift freight from the truck: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 3Q Licence (preferred)
- Class 5 Licence (required)
