**Job Description**:
Lead and manage the implementation of all Equity, Diversity and Inclusion project initiatives in collaboration with the EDI Practice strategy lead and stakeholders across all departments.
**Responsibilities**
- Execute EDI enterprise and team project implementation tasks in coordination with partners in, People & Inclusion, Marketing & Communications, MLSE Foundation & Launchpad, Global Partnerships, Live Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Technology, Teams, Operations and community organizations. Project tasks include scheduling and coordinating all project meetings and events, planning and managing project communications and tracking and reporting project status to key collaborators.
- Develop and manage an inventory of existing and prospective community partnerships to efficiently execute the distribution of game tickets in support of EDI initiatives benefitting marginalized communities.
- Lead all communication from existing and prospective community partnership organizations seeking sponsorship, donations and/or contributions, and prepare briefs to facilitate partner evaluation and recommendations
- Assist in organizing Employee Inclusion Group (EIG) events and activities including speaking engagements, themed game nights and heritage month activations (for example, Black History Month, Asian Heritage Month, National Indigenous History Month, Gender Equity Month and Pride Month).
- Assist in the delivery of EDI learning including notification to participants.
- Assist in preparing engaging, informative and well-organized presentations.
- Maintain effective and efficient relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to successfully implement EDI initiatives.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all employee questions sent to the generic EDI mailbox, keeping an inventory of inquiries to inform opportunity gaps and engaging EDI Practice Leads to ensure quick response and resolution.
- Take ownership of project initiatives and see them through from ideation to successful completion including scheduling meetings and required training.
- Attend People & Inclusion and Equity, Diversity & Inclusion department and team meetings.
- Manage and process all EDI project expenses, including budget approval, invoicing and expense reporting.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
**Qualifications**:
- Demonstrated knowledge of EDI practices, policies, processes and evaluation tools.
- Strong problem-solving mentality.
- Self-starter, taking initiative and responsibility for decisions.
- Team builder, able to navigate different perspectives to arrive at a decision.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to demonstrate this proficiency to negotiate, develop and present recommendations and outcomes.
- Capability to develop strong working relationships built upon trust and respect.
