**Overview**

**Duties**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children's curiosity and creativity.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support the educational journey of each child.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, ensuring all students feel valued and included.
- Utilize technology for administrative tasks such as lesson planning, record keeping, and communication.

**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages such as French, Spanish is a plus.
- Leadership abilities to guide and inspire young learners effectively.
- Proficient in computer operation for educational purposes and administrative tasks.
- Strong time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Experience in childcare settings with a focus on nurturing developmentally appropriate practices.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all students, including those with disabilities.
