**What you do**:
In this role, you will contribute to the success of the organization by working closely with the Payroll/Accounting Administrator, Senior Financial Analyst, and Co-op Intermediate Financial Accountant. The accounting team works closely with Operations & Marketing, Franchisees, and partner Suppliers to monitor invoicing and payments to produce quality reporting within a structured monthly timeframe.

Accounts Payable
- Enter invoice details into DocLink for internal approval
- Upload approved invoice details into Sage (from DocLink)
- Prepare cheques and EFTs with appropriate supporting documentation for signing authorities
- Prepare bi-weekly payment runs, and ad hoc rush payments
- Set up and maintain vendor records
- Corporate location(s) cheque printing and mail-out

Accounts Receivable
- Prepare invoices for franchisee billings and cost recoveries
- Prepare daily cash sheets (cheque and EFT) and batch upload files for posting to the sub-ledger
- Prepare weekly and monthly EFTs for AR collection
- Digital filing of various accounting records

Gift Card Processing and Maintenance
- Responsible for processing and payment Gift Card company expenses (accounts payable process)
- Responsible for reconciling Gift Card activations to supporting documents weekly and monthly
- Responsible for troubleshooting activation, redemption or other card holder or partner issues in a timely manner, including being the point person for in-store enquiries

**Who you are**:

- You have at least 1+ years of Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable experience
- You are an intermediate user of Microsoft Excel and accounting software (preferably AccPac/Sage300)
- You are an effective communicator who works well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team-environment
- You have solid organizational skills with the ability to successfully multi-task and respond effectively to changing priorities, while maintaining a strong attention to detail
- You are a self-starter and have the ability to work independently
- You may have hospitality and/or food service industry experience
