**Job description**
Our office is a well-established, fast-paced general dentistry practice. We pride ourselves on excellence and providing the highest standard of care for our patients. We are looking for a dynamic, professional, and confident Dental Receptionist with outstanding communication and organizational skills. As the first point of contact for our dental office, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations. **Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:
- Manage the multi-provider schedule: schedule patients while creating optimal flow across providers.
- Handle confidential patient records.
- Greet and welcome patients, in person or over the phone
- Manage patient check-in and check-out process: discuss financials, invoicing and collecting payment from patients with confidence and ease.
- Handle patient inquiries related to their treatment plans and associated costs.
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with billing inquiries
- Coordinate with clinical team (dentist, hygienist, and dental assistants) to ensure efficient patient flow
- Ensure that the waiting room and reception area are always clean and tidy.
- Demonstrate initiative in other projects as they arise.
**Skills required to succeed in this role**:
- Previous experience in a dental office or medical setting.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Proficiency in using a dental software program. Experience with Tracker 11 is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-faced environment.

- Highly organized, quick learner with analytical thinking that allows for effective teamwork.
- Must be able to multi-task, be self-motivated and be able to work independently.
**Schedule**:
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays (min 2 per month).
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
