**General Sales Manager Required**

Myers Barrhaven Hyundai - located at 4115 Strandherd Dr. - is looking for a motivated, self-starter with excellent communication skills to join our team as a **General Sales Manager.**

We are looking for a leader who is sincere, outgoing, confident, results-oriented, and able to motivate.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Work with Floor Managers to ensure inventory level stays within limits.
- Hold Used Car Manager accountable for Wholesale inventory and turn of Retail inventory.
- Ensure proper tracking, statistical information, processes, and efforts are followed while working with sales managers to maximize customer finance retention, customer lease renewals, Hyundai leads, salespersons prospecting efforts and any lead source.
- Work in conjunction with the Floor Manager and cover a regular Scheduled shift.
- Train and motivate sales staff, Business Managers and Floor Manager as required.
- Hire and fire employees as required with the prior approval of the General Manager.
- Coordinate the daily morning shift meeting/training sessions for sales staff.
- Attend manager meetings as required.
- Assist in overseeing the efforts of vehicle salespeople to enhance the image and CSI ratings of the dealership.
- Assist salespeople as needed in the process of selling and closing customers.
- Assist the General Manager/Dealer and Director of Marketing in the development of advertising campaigns and other sales promotions.
- Oversee planning and control of vehicle displays and point of purchase displays both inside and outside the dealership and Body shop storage lot.
- Measure and report all employees’ performances on a month-to-month basis. Strive to coordinate a one-on-one meeting with management for each employee every month.
- Ensure sales targets are met.
- Keep customer satisfaction at the high-level Myers customers have come to know and expect.
- Strong organizational, personal and telephone skills.
- Strong selling and closing skills.
- Automotive sales and business office experience.
- Thorough knowledge of retail and in-house leasing.
- Sales management experience in the automotive industry.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Computer knowledge.

**Salary**: $100,000.00-$165,000.00 per year
