**Overview**
**Woodpecker Infant Toddler Care** is currently seeking a **compassionate and qualified ECE/Infant Toddler Educator (ECE-IT)** to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an educator passionate about early childhood development and looking to make a meaningful impact in a **small, supportive childcare setting**.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for infants and toddlers.
- Provide a **safe, inclusive, and nurturing** environment for all children.
- Observe and document children's growth, interests, and developmental progress.
- Build **positive relationships** with children, families, and colleagues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
- Follow **all licensing regulations** and **Woodpecker Infant Toddler Care policies**.

**Required Qualifications**
- **Valid ECE Infant Toddler (IT) Certificate** recognized by the BC Ministry of Children and Family Development.
- **Valid Childcare First Aid & CPR Certification**.
- **Legally eligible to work in Canada**.
- **Clear Criminal Record Check** with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
- **Three (3) professional references** (letters preferred).
- Strong **communication and teamwork** skills.

**Preferred Assets**
- Experience working with infants and toddlers in a **licensed childcare setting**.
- Familiarity with the **BC Early Learning Framework**.
- Additional languages or cultural knowledge.
