Holistic Roots Childcare Centre is an Early Learning Centre that has been offering a holistic approach to childcare and education for the past 10 years. We are a small centre with 2 classrooms and a large natural outdoor play space.

We have a therapy dog on site that typically stays in the office and occasionally hangs out with the children and staff in the classroom. Lola loves to great the children and staff when they come in and enjoys her walks and cuddles.

We are growing our gardening program and have expanded it to include a garden plot at the local community garden for families & staff wanting to grow their own veggies.

The best coffee shop in Langley is located across the street.

**Job description**

**Holistic Roots Childcare Centre is looking for a full time, experienced, enthusiastic Infant Toddler Educator to join our team.**

*
1 Part Time Position Available - Starting January 1st. **Shift**: Monday/ Wednesday/Friday (offering 2 options 4 hours a day or 7 hours a day)

1 Full Time Position Available - Starting February 1st. **Shift**:Monday to Friday (35 - 40 hrs/week) Rotating start times between 7:30am & 9:00am

**Salary**: Dependent Upon Experience and Qualification
- *ECEA - starting at $18
- *ECE - Starting at $19 + $4 wage enhancemet
- *IT - Starting at $20 + $4 wage enhancemet

**Job Description**:
Create a warm, supportive, healthy and engaging early learning environment

Collaborate & create lesson plans that adhere to a holistic approach that focuses on a child's physical, personal, social, emotional and spiritual wellbeing, as well as cognitive aspects of learning.

Ensure that all programming is age appropriate for ages 10 months - 3 years.

Engage children and participate in all activities which will include but not limited to mindful yoga, story time, language arts, arts and crafts, music & movements, sensory & outdoor activities.

Prepare and serve snacks; Respond consistently to infants’ needs for food and comfort.

Handle emergencies, crises, and challenging behaviours of the children.

Follow the center's policies & procedures as well as have knowledge of licensing regulations.

Have fun and build genuine relationships with children, their families and your coworkers
