**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist with food preparation as needed while adhering to sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns regarding their meals.
- Foster positive relationships with guests by providing attentive service and addressing any inquiries or issues that may arise.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurant settings.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Familiarity with sanitation practices in food service environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
