**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Create daily food features utilizing limited equipment in a small kitchen.
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
- Assist with mentoring kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and food handling procedures at all times.
- Assist Executive Chef with conducting regular menu costing and pricing analysis to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive pricing.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef/Owner to execute the culinary vision and uphold the overall brand identity of the establishment.

**Qualifications**:

- Food Handler's Certificate.
- Strong culinary skills.
- Familiarity with menu costing, inventory counts and excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with staff, and management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to take on new challenges and contribute to the overall success of the team.
- Passionate about food and committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
