**Shift Requirements**:
This position requires availability for shifts between **9:00 AM and 2:00 PM**, **3 to 5 days per week**. The specific days will vary based on the operational needs of the business.
**Starting Wage**:
$21.50 - 24.00 per hour
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide comprehensive homemaking services, including but not limited to cleaning, cooking, laundry, and general household management
- Offer companionship and accompany clients to community activities and events
- Administer personal care services in accordance with the care plan directives
- Ensure the emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and safety of clients to the highest possible standard
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, tailored to meet their specific needs
- Perform specialized procedures for clients where training has been provided while demonstrating current competency
- Observe and document client conditions in line with company standards; promptly report any unusual events or changes in client condition to the Supervisor or Office
- Implement and adhere to infection prevention practices

Job Qualification
**Requirements**:
- Preferred: Registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry.
- Completion of formal, accredited caregiver training program and/or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of the principles of caregiving as well as well as customer service.
- Able to communicate in spoken and written English; French proficiency will be deemed an asset.
- Provide high-quality care services to clients with current knowledge of practices for community care.
- Physically assist clients with movement and/or repositioning; able to lift 23 kgs., squat, bend, stand and reach.
- Reliable mode of transportation; driver's license and automobile considered as an asset.
- Able to produce a clear **Criminal background check with Vulnerable Sector Check**.
